5 Star Reviews and the Quest for Perfection

It’s no secret that Dr. Dave and Diane love to travel.  There are photos around the office and artifacts from their journeys. They forgo golf memberships, fancy wardrobes, and other luxuries in order to find an adventure and travel to “parts unknown” to them. It was on a recent trip that Dr. Dave had an interesting observation that has led him on a fun research project.

In Paris they were preparing for a day visiting the Louvre. So as not to miss any of the most famous of the Louvre’s art exhibits, they checked in with Mr. Google for his assistance.  The search was “top 10 things to see at the Louvre”? The first information that popped up was the Louvre’s Google rating: 4.7 stars out of 5. Huh, wouldn’t one think that the world’s most famous and renowned art museum would be a shoo-in for a 5 star Google rating?  They have the Mona Lisa for crying out loud! Who knows, maybe it got dinged for all the stairs when some have knee problems – like Dr. Dave and Diane. (They would gladly give the Louvre 5 stars anyway)!

At Davidson Family Dentistry, we strive for 5 stars from everyone – all the time. We have hundreds of reviews in aggregate on the many internet sites that are available to an internet researcher. Dr. Dave especially wants his Google score high because that is the search engine he uses. (Currently Davidson has over 130 Google reviews with a 4.8 star Google rating). We strive for all of our patient encounters to be 5 stars and are disappointed when the rare person doesn’t have a 5 star experience.
